Additional
info
The above definition is exactly how band members Steve Hospodar
(vocals), Jason Murray (bass), Ken Wood (guitar) and Joe Wood (drums)
sum up their oneness as Ka-Tet. Formed in August of 2003, Ka-Tet
combines their individual and collective influences drawing from
the entire history of heavy metal and beyond. The music that results
has been described as "Metal with good tunes" by Jimmy
Brown (Music Editor, Guitar World & Revolver). Some fans of
the band see Ka-Tet as a breath of fresh air when compared to the
monotony of most music in today's metal scene.
In August 2004, Ka-Tet completed work on a three song demo with
the help of Trevor Huster (Diecaster Studios; Erie, PA), who is
best known for his work on Train's "Drops of Jupiter".
In the near future, Ka-Tet plan to start work on their first full
length album.
